Colin is an experienced teacher with a degree in Biological Imaging and a passion for the natural world, Colin is continually developing resources, perfect for curious young minds who love wildlife! The aim of Living World Education is to celebrate and educate the diversity and conservation of wildlife.
With our world and its wildlife in such a precarious state, it is more vital than ever for children to understand and value nature. Colin's mission is to develop greater awareness "natural literacy", enabling young people to recognise and act positively to the changes and challenges faced by our rapidly changing planet.
As a teacher trained in Secondary Science and A Level Biology, Colin quickly found a passion for Special Education where he has worked as a teacher and leader in both Primary and Secondary schools.
A self-confessed shark obsessive, he has published his first 48 page, non-fiction book The Living World of Sharks. This has since been translated to French for the benefit of Shark Citizen, a French-based research and education organization working on the island of Reunion in the Pacific Ocean.
Resources have also been created for the Bahamas-based Sharks4Kids, the educational program ran by the brilliant Jillian Morris.
